Questions
Everything a buyer usually asks before the first order. If yours is not here, ask us.
Ordering
How does an order work?
You pick a service and a tier, fill a structured brief, and pay. e3mel reviews the brief, selects a vetted maker, oversees production, runs a quality review, and delivers the files to you. You approve, or ask for a revision.
Do I choose the maker?
No, and that is deliberate. e3mel selects from makers whose past work and reliability we track, so you are not comparing profiles or negotiating. In Multiple mode you choose between finished directions rather than between people.
Can I talk to the maker directly?
No. All communication runs through e3mel, in both directions. If the maker needs something from you we ask you, and if you need a change we brief them. It keeps accountability with us.
What if my brief is unclear?
We read every brief before production starts. If something is missing we send it back with a specific question, and the delivery clock does not start until the brief is approved.
Can I cancel?
Before a maker is assigned, you get a full refund. After assignment and before the first approved submission, the refund is partial and the maker keeps a small fee for work already done. Once work has passed quality review, cancellation is handled through support.
Pricing & payment
Are prices really fixed?
Yes. The price you see is the price you pay for the scope shown on the service page. There is no hourly billing and no renegotiation mid-project.
Why does Multiple mode cost more?
Because you are paying several makers, not one. Each sends an independent direction and each is paid for the work, including the ones you do not select.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cards, mobile wallets and kiosk payments through our payment provider. Bank transfer is available for larger orders, contact us.
Is VAT included?
Prices shown to clients are the total charged, VAT inclusive where it applies. Your invoice is issued automatically on payment and is available on the order page.
When is my money paid to the maker?
Not at checkout. Funds are held until you approve the delivery, or until the delivery auto-approves after the response window.
Revisions & delivery
What counts as a revision?
A change within the brief you submitted, colour, typography, layout, content or a technical fix. A defective delivery is fixed for free and does not consume a revision. A change of direction beyond the original brief is new work, quoted separately.
How many revisions do I get?
It depends on the tier and is stated on the service page before you order. Any revisions e3mel asks the maker for during quality review do not count against your allowance.
What if I do not respond to a delivery?
We remind you, and after the response window the order completes automatically so makers are not left waiting indefinitely. The files stay available to you.
How is the delivery date calculated?
Working days are Sunday to Thursday, excluding Egyptian public holidays. The date shown includes our quality-review buffer, so it is the date you receive files, not the date the maker finishes.
What if the maker misses the deadline?
We reassign the work or refund you in full. If it still arrives late and you accept it, 30% of the price is credited to your wallet automatically. That comes out of the maker's payout, not out of your pocket.
Files, IP & confidentiality
Who owns the final work?
You do, on approval and full payment. Source files are part of the deliverables listed on each service page.
Can the maker show my work in their portfolio?
Only after 30 days, and only if you did not opt out at checkout. The opt-out is a single checkbox.
Is my brief confidential?
Makers see the brief they need to do the work, with your identity and contact details removed. They never see your name, email or phone number.
Do you sign NDAs?
For larger engagements, yes, contact us before ordering.
For makers
How do I join?
Apply with your work samples and the categories you want. We review within two working days and reply either way.
When do I get paid?
When the client approves, your payout is held in escrow for 7 days, then sent to you on the next payout date (the 15th or the 30th), as long as your balance has reached the minimum.
Do I have to find clients?
No. Briefed, paid work appears in your feed. There is no bidding and no unpaid speculative work, in Multiple mode every approved direction is paid, selected or not.
What happens if I miss a deadline?
The assignment is reassigned and it affects your reliability score and level. If you deliver late and the client accepts the work anyway, 30% of the order price comes off your payout for that job and goes to the client. Release a job early if you cannot deliver, that is treated far more leniently than going silent.
